Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use cookies and similar technologies to keep Syntheve secure, provide core functionality, and (optionally) measure how the site is used.
1. Essential cookies
Essential cookies are required for the service to function. They help with security and core product features such as authentication and abuse prevention. These cookies are always active.
One example: syntheve_score_event_id. When you use the free ATS scorer at /app/ats-checker without an account, this first-party, HTTP-only cookie links your anonymous score result to your account if you sign up afterwards. It expires after 30 days, or sooner once it has served its purpose.
After you complete signup from that flow, we may set a short-lived flag cookie syntheve_came_from_score (not HTTP-only; contains no personal data) so the builder can show funnel-aware onboarding copy. It expires after 7 days or when you finish or skip the profile step.
2. Optional analytics cookies
If you choose “Allow analytics”, we enable analytics storage for Google Analytics. If you choose “Essential only”, analytics storage stays disabled and we do not use analytics cookies.
3. Managing your preferences
You can choose your preference via the cookie banner and update it later using “Cookie preferences” in the site footer.
